Chp. 11 verses 29 - 32, Moshe finishes off the chp. with a warning that they should guard and keep all the commandments which G-d has given them. Chp. 12 verses1 - 7: Moshe tells them that when they enter the land that they are commanded to destroy all forms of idolatry. In addition they should change the names of the places where idols were worshiped. But there is warning not to do the same to our G-d, never to erase His name.

Chp. 12 verses 8 - 17: Moshe tells the people that they would be allowed to bring their peace sacrifices on private alters only until the land would be divided and God would chose a place for his Sanctuary. They private alters would be forbidden.

Chp. 12 verses 25 - 31: Continues with the prohibition of eating blood and a warning to only bring sacrificial offerings in the place which God would choose. Also not to follow the ways of the nations that were being exiled from the land, and to not serve their idols.

Chp. 13 verses 1 - 6: Moshe warns the people not follow a false prophet or a dreamer. The Baal HaTurim sees an allusion to Jesus in the wording of our section. These people are seen as a test of ones belief in God.

Chp. 13 verses 7 - 19: Deals with the laws about a person who incites others to serve idols and his punishment. It then goes on to discuss a city where the majority of the inhabitants serve idols, and their punishment.

Chp. 14 verses 1 - 8: This chapter begins with the laws of mourning and the prohibition of cutting you flesh or your head as a sign of grief. Continues with the laws of kosher animals and those that are not kosher and what determines if they are kosher or not.
