Chp.3 verses 23 - 25: Introduction, Moshe realizing that he is about to die and that the people have not prayed to God for him, he offers his own prayers to God in the hope that God will allow him to enter the land of Israel.

Chp. 4 verses 5 - 11: Moshe continues to speak to the people about the foundation of faith.

Chp. 4 verses 12 - 22: We continue with Moshe giving over to the people the foundation of our faith.. He then continues with the importance of allegiance to God Almighty.

Chp. 4 verses 23 - 30: Moshe continues with warnings about the future and their addiction to serving idols. But in the end they will return back to God.

Chp. 4 verses 31 - 40: Moshe continues with the theme of allegiance to God. He reminds them of all that they saw at the giving of the Torah something that no other nation has ever experienced before or after. He reminds them of their connection to the forefathers, their ace in the hole.
